New Year's Day Favors

Happy Happy New Year!!!  This year we decided to have a little get together for New Year's Eve.   So, I made some candy favors but, I also made these take home favors for the day after.   I started with a larger size Chinese take out box.   I added some white shredded paper, a gel pack eye mask, a small bottle of ibuprofen, two Starbuck's instant coffee packets, some purse size Kleenex and some truffles.

I decorated these using the Ribbons & Rosette's cartridge and the Wall Decor and More.   The clocks on the front were cut from Wall Decor and More, cut at 4".   The base layer is plain black and the white layer is the Core'dinations 'White Gloves' paper....just a little glitter.   Then I cut a 3" circle using George and Basic Shapes in a mat silver.   The Rosette was cut from Core'dinations 'black tie' paper using 5 Grass cuts at 2" each.   I scored them and then glued them all together with a 3" black circle hot glued to the back, to keep them together and to attach them to the take out boxes.  I finished with some black tulle wrapped around and tied in a bow at the top.
As you can see, I also attached one to a glass jar centerpiece that I had put the ladies' party horns and crowns in.   I had plain black horns so, I covered the ones for the ladies in some pretty paper and then stuck them in this glass jar and then put some lip gloss in each one, for before midnight!

Call Me

I have to say that today's card was inspired by the die cut that is inside the card and not the Cricut cut.   The Cricut cut is the border phone from Wall Decor and More.  I cut it at 2 3/4" with the shadow.  The printed dot paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Upcycle Stack and the stamp on the front is from Studio 112.
Inside, the phone says 'Call Me' on it.   This is from the K& Co Smooch line.

All the Cricut cuts

A couple more cards today using the negative cuts from Damask Decor.

Both of these cards are the negatives from Damask Silhouette #37.   The top card, I used the Victoria Cuttlebug folder for the gray mat.   I added a strip of black paper that I embossed using the Swiss Dots folder and then a strip of black velvet ribbon across it.  The sentiment is Studio G.

This one, I embossed the mat with the Victoria folder again and added a strip of black paper that I border punched both sides with a Martha Stewart border punch and then added a strip of ribbon from the American Craft Dear Lizzy 'Duke' collection and again, the sentiment from Studio G.

Calli Lillies

One of my favorite cartridges that I got for Christmas is Art Nouveau.   I LOVE IT and want to cut everything but, I am being patient.
So these Calla Lillie's were cut at 4" and I used white opal Liquid Pearls on the top layer of the flowers.   The papers are from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 'Rosy' small stack.   I used a Martha Stewart Around the Page punch for the center mount and the green strip of vertical paper down the center.   The shimmery ribbon on top of that green strip is from Pebbles.

Taking Cancer Down

As some of you know, we moved last year into a new home.  Not only do we love our house but, we love the new neighbors and friends we have met!  We've become friends with a strong family, with 5 kids, the youngest is 5 years old and he was diagnosed with leukemia when he was almost 2.   He has recently finished chemo and the family is having a big party for him so, this card is for him!
This little boy and his family are largely involved in our school's wrestling program so, I used the Sports Mania cartridge and cut this wrestling statement at 2 1/2" using the 'sayings' feature.  The mat paper is from the American Crafts Travel collection and the inside sentiment was printed by me.
