Just Married Bling

I honestly can't recall all of the details for this card but, I know that the silver and black mat paper is from DCWV, a 6x6 stack and it is shiny.    The cartouche frame was cut with Elegant Edges and the Just Married sentiment was cut with a Martha Stewart cartridge.   The bling gems on the left side are all one piece, a brad from House of Three.

Happy BD Anchor Negative

Yet another card using a negative cut.   This one I used some Michael's dollar store paper and then mounted the negative Anchor cut from Splish Splash at 3 1/2" and a sentiment from Studio G.   Quick and Easy!

Live Well Anchor

This picture is really bad but, I couldn't seem to get the camera to agree with me on this card.   The paper is from the Michael's dollar bins and the craft paper was embossed with the anchor folder from Lifestyle Crafts.   The anchor itself is the base cut from Splish Splash at 3 1/2"  I added some recycled twice and a sticker sentiment from the Target dollar bins.

Nautical Anchor

I think the summer brings out my love for the nautical theme.   I have some nautical themed Lifestyle Crafts embossing folders and that just put me in the mood.   The one that I used twice here on the two different blue colors is the Tide folder.   The bottom light blue piece was embossed (it's hard to see in this photo) with the anchors folder.
The anchor was cut from Splish Splash at 3 1/2" and I added a recycled piece of twine and a sentiment from Studio G.

Weathervane Thanks

This card was made using the Country Life cartridge.   The cut was done at 3 1/4".   I used a corner rounder and some ribbon from Target.   I can't remember where the paper is from but, I made the card for Teacher Appreciation week, which is this week!  Don't forget your teachers!!

Sew Thoughtful 2!

Another version of the Sew Thoughtful card.   The Jillibean Soup paper was very versatile with the different colors so this one, I made a little more of a country look.   The cut from Country Life is 2 1/2" with the layers but, on this card, I also wrapped the thread spool with yellow thread and then glued on the needle layer.   The embossing on the craft paper is from Tim Holtz and then I hand stitched over top of it with green.   The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms 'The Charmed Life'.

Gram loves Scrabble!

When I saw this scrabble paper in the Crate Paper Party Day 6x6 stack, I knew exactly who I was going to use it for…My Grandma!   She loves scrabble.   I added the red diamond paper from Crate Paper DIY Shop.   The individual letter tiles, I cut with my cutter and then used Making Memories rub on letters on each one.  I added a feminine touch by using some flowers from Michael's and then some Recollections brads in the centers of the flowers.  The trim I used is from Websters Pages “All About Me’ collection.

Preggo Congrats

This card was made for a friend who is expecting.   I used Teresa Collins (LOVE HER) paper from the 6x6 Memories stack and the Tell Your Story stack.   I cut the main frame from Elegant Edges.   It’s the Burst cut, Oblong, with Shift at 3 ½”.  The pregnant girl cut is from Everyday Pop Up Cards at 3 ¼” and flipped.  The ribbon is from American Crafts and then I used a printed sentiment and a corner rounder

Thinking of Dragonflies

Hello everyone!   I hope you're all having a great day!  I have been feeling a little more in the spring mood lately and thought I would make something along the lines.   The dragonflies are from the Pagoda cartridge cut at 3" with the top wing layers.   The paper is a light purple with glitter dots that came from the DCWV Ultimate stack (a winter paper) and the layer I cut in dark purple and then added dark purple stickles on the wings and the bodies of the dragonflies.   I glued the bodies and part of the wings to the sheet but, used pop dots on the tips of the wings to make them stick up and appear like they are flying.
The mat paper is from Martha Stewart.   Can't recall where the flocked rick rack ribbon is from but, the stamp is from a G Studio mini for this spring.  I used the same paper on the inside with a strip of gray cardstock and a Martha Stewart border punch across the bottom.
Hope this one makes you feel in a springy mood too!  Can't wait to see all the great cards you guys will create this spring!  Happy Easter! Enjoy!

Birthday Tunes 2

Today's headphone card is from Wild Card 2.   Headphones seem to be a good go to item for teen cards right now.  The printed paper is from DCWV Generation Tech stack.   I cut the two different rectangle's and framed them in the green (although it is hard to tell).  The green sheet across the top was embossed using the Cuttlebug Allegro folder.   I cut the headphones at 2 1/2" and then framed them on the green square and added some black cord.   The red scribble lines are a cut up transparency from Basic Grey Serendipity line, as well as the sentiment that is also framed.   The inside stamp is from Studio G.

Life's Journey

This card made it's way to life with using a negative cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge.   The Swirl2 shadow cut at 5" created the frame for the great Basic Grey 'What's Up' paper.   All I added was an Inkadinkado framed sentiment that hangs from some House of Three twine.   Cute!

Hot Air Happy Birthday

This printed paper inspired me to make this birthday card.   The paper is from Basic Grey 'What's Up' 6x6 stack.   So cute!!  Then I found the stamp set from Inkadinkado and loved that hot air balloon.  I stamped it on a frame that I made using the Elegant Edges Swirl2 shadow only cut at 3" and then at 3 1/4".   I used dimensional foam dots between the two and mounted them on top of the Dear Lizzy ribbon.   The sentiment stamp is also from Inkadinkado and I used some pink Michael's gems to accent the hot air balloon stamp!

Sympathy

The Sympathy card was made using the Basic Grey Oxford 6x6 pad and the Elegant Edges cartridge.   I cut the Swirl2 with the shadow at 2 3/4" and then another shadow at 3" to make it three layers.   The sentiment is from Fiskars.   The strip of blue paper was embossed with Lifestyle Crafts Whimsy folder.

Butterfly Birthday

I have a pattern of several cards that carried over either paper themes because they were left over or cuts that I carried over.   This one today was both.   Paper from DCWV La Creme matstack and the butterfly from Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art.   The frame in the center of this card was cut using the Elegant Edges cartridge Design1, shift at 4 1/4" .   Then the Butterfly is from the MS Elegant Cake are cartridge, B-fly at 2", using the DCWV Coral Couture stack for that green color.   The sentiment is from Studio 112 and has a heart between the two words that I filled in using a sharpie in the green color.   I framed the sentiment and added a large rose brad from Crate Paper Story Teller collection.

I also used some negatives on the inside of this one.  The corner pieces are from the Elegant Edges cut from the front of the cartridge and then a sentiment from Fiskars.

Mustache Birthday

Who isn't loving the mustache stuff right now?   This one is a simple card using Me & My Big Ideas paper, a strip of red ribbon and a cartouche that I cut and corner punched with a Uchida punch.   The mustache was a Studio G stamp that I stamped on cardstock and then cut out and used black flock to make it look fuzzy and a sentiment under it from Studio G as well.

Sock Monkey 1st Birthday

This Sock Monkey card I made using the B is for Boy cartridge, and the monkey was cut at 3 1/2".   The paper is from the DCWV Kidlet 6x6 stack and the chipboard letters are from the Target dollar bins.

Cupcake Stamped Set

I have a set of cards today that I made for a friend who is a cupcake baker.   I used kraft paper and solid pink and yellow cardstock.   The cupcake stamps are all from Studio G and the punch that I used is one of the Martha Stewart punch around the page.   It's such a great, useful gift for people!

Sew Thoughtful!

This particular card was for a friend's mother who had given me a gift.   She quilts with some ladies for different charitable reasons but, one near to her own heart is breast cancer.   So, I combined her love of quilting with the pink for breast cancer.   The print paper is the vintage paper tops of thread pools, from Jillibean Soup 'Homemade' 6x6 stack.  I cut the thread and quilt square cut from Country Life at 2 1/2" with the layers.  I used the Tim Holtz embossing folders to emboss the pink paper and the zig zag stitch across the bottom and then I hand stitched the brown stitching up the side of the pink.   The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms 'The Charmed Life'.

A Peachy Thank you!

This fuzzy peach was cut using  Just Because Cards , the Peach at 2 ¾”.  I used flock to make the peach look fuzzy and then Glossy Accents on the leaves .  The frame in the back was cut from another cartridge but I didn’t keep track of which.  I then used  a Martha Stewart border punch and punched a strip of paper on both sides to make the vertical border, with a little strip of the mat paper down the middle of the border.  The mat paper is My Mind’s Eye ‘The Sweetest Thing’ Paper and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.

On the inside, I copied the same border punch and used an Inkadinkado sentiment.
