I started with a business sized Kraft paper base card. This is a challenge for me because I struggle with Kraft paper. I always love projects that use it but, it doesn't seem to inspire me at all. So, I used a solid brown mat and then the top is a sheet from the DCWV Songbird stack. I love the little music notes!
So, I cut two different perched singing birds from the new April Showers Solutions cartridge. The perch for the one on the top is cut from the brown paper and the perch for the one on the bottom is cut from the kraft paper. I used a gel pen to faux stitch their wings and then pop dotted them on and hung them with baker's twine from Martha Stewart crafts. The sentiment is from a dollar stamp.
